Qualifying period for 2026 Alabama election ends

Alabama has an open U.S. Senate seat with the departure of Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama), who is now running to be Alabama’s next governor.

All seven of Alabama’s U.S. House of Representatives seats are going to be on the ballot. Right now, Republicans hold five of those seats, and Democrats hold two of those seats.
