Huntsville man among four charged in scheme to illegally export AI chips to China HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Federal authorities have charged four people with conspiring to illegally export advanced NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs) — technology with significant artificial intelligence and national security applications — to China. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the group allegedly worked together to bypass U.S. export controls and ship restricted technology overseas by falsifying documents, creating fake contracts, and misleading authorities. Mike Rogers announces ‘Space Command will officially be assigned to build its headquarters in Huntsville’

After years of politicized delay by the Biden Administration, Alabama Congressman and Chairman of the U.S. House Armed Services Committee, Mike Rogers announced that the headquarters of U.S. Space Command will officially be built in Huntsville.

Speaking on Auburn University’s McCrary Institute’s “Cyber Focus” podcast, Rogers confirmed that the long-awaited decision will be finalized this month.

during President Donald Trump’s first administration, the U.S. Air Force announced that Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal in Alabama was the preferred location for U.S. Space Command’s permanent headquarters. That decision followed a comprehensive evaluation process in which Redstone Arsenal ranked first, surpassing all other contenders, including Colorado’s Peterson Space Force Base, which ranked fifth.

The video has lots of people asking lots of questions. “We just want answers of where are they coming from,” said Athens resident Amanda Schulte. “How are they getting here? Who’s setting them up? Officials said the buses are carrying workers from Athens and Albertville to their plant in Russellville. “Recently, a new refugee program has incentivized immigrants to move to our communities,” Kitchens’ statement said.
