Huntsville man killed at Waffle House after threatening to shoot customers

A Huntsville man was shot and killed early Sunday after allegedly making threats about shooting people in a Waffle House parking lot, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. The man has been identified as 26-year-old Cristall Terrell Hereford by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

Citizens sharing concerns over busloads of migrants HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - There is a video on social media that shows a busload of chicken plant workers being dropped off at the Athens Walmart. The video has lots of people asking lots of questions. “We just want answers of where are they coming from,” said Athens resident Amanda Schulte. “How are they getting here? Who’s setting them up? And when is it going to stop?” WAFF 48 checked with the company at the center of all these questions, Pilgrim’s Pride. Officials said the buses are carrying workers from Athens and Albertville to their plant in Russellville. “Recently, a new refugee program has incentivized immigrants to move to our communities,” Kitchens’ statement said.
