Huntsville man among four charged in scheme to illegally export AI chips to China HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Federal authorities have charged four people with conspiring to illegally export advanced NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs) — technology with significant artificial intelligence and national security applications — to China. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the group allegedly worked together to bypass U.S. export controls and ship restricted technology overseas by falsifying documents, creating fake contracts, and misleading authorities. Huntsville USPS worker sentenced to 18 months for stealing mail

A former United States Postal Service (USPS) worker from Huntsville accused of stealing mail from his route was sentenced by a federal judge on Friday. The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Friday that a federal judge sentenced Zachary Rashad Humphrey, 31, of Huntsville to 18 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for stealing mail between March and April of 2022.

The video has lots of people asking lots of questions. “We just want answers of where are they coming from,” said Athens resident Amanda Schulte. “How are they getting here? Who’s setting them up? And when is it going to stop?” WAFF 48 checked with the company at the center of all these questions, Pilgrim’s Pride. Officials said the buses are carrying workers from Athens and Albertville to their plant in Russellville. “Recently, a new refugee program has incentivized immigrants to move to our communities,” Kitchens’ statement said.
